This past week, the students at STOC celebrated Mental Well-being Week. In addition to daily announcements, students were encouraged to wear green on Friday May 11th and were taught yoga moves by the the Health Action Team (HAT) along with teacher advisor Mrs. Finn. Participating in yoga demonstrates each of the “5 ways to mental well-being: Connect, Keep Learning, Be Active, Take Notice and Be Creative & Play. In addition, the HAT will be serving frozen mangos on Mon. May 14 to encourage students to try something new! While they may have eaten mangos before, frozen mangos is a refreshing, new spin on a healthy fruit, especially as we get ready to welcome summer.
