The grade 2 students at St. Teresa of Calcutta have been very fortunate to be involved in a Rosary Club here at STOC. Gary Whalen parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena parish (Our Lady of Lourdes Campus) leads the way with a team of 4 or 5 weekly helpers from the church. The Rosary Club leaders come in every Monday and spend time with the Grade 2's (First Communicants) making Rosary's out of beads, but also teaching them the various parts and the decats of the Rosary, along with saying the Rosary. It's just a great way for the kids to learn about the Rosary. All leaders are retirees so it adds a whole inter-generational piece as well, with the students looking forward to the seniors coming in each week.
