Safe drinking water

Results from 2021 water testing for schools of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board are now available. We are happy to report that lead testing results for St. Teresa of Calcutta CES have met the Ontario drinking water quality lead standard of 10 micrograms per litre (10 µg/L) or below.

Since 2007, Ontario law has required childcare centres and schools to flush their plumbing and test their drinking water for lead.
