Volunteering at Saint Teresa of Calcutta-updated Oct. 2016

Saint Teresa of Calcutta School in its effort to provide the students with the best possible learning environment, extends a welcome to volunteers who are interested in assisting in various activities.

Have you considered joining the already well over 30 (plus) committed, involved and world (okay, at least city) renowned STOC volunteers? The process to do so just got that much easier! Click here https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/serv ... to access the Hamilton Police Services new on-line system. It shouldn't take longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. Be prepared to pay for the service with a credit card. However, should you prefer to complete a paper copy and arrange to drop off at the Police Services station downtown, please contact Mrs. Palumbo to find out more information about this process. A huge thank you to all of our dedicated and valuable BTOC volunteers, and thank you in advance for considering joining them. We couldn’t be as successful as we are without you!

Nominations for the School Council are accepted at the beginning of each school year. Council members are required to attend Monthly Meetings. Committee meetings may also be required.

Volunteers are required for various classrooms. It is recommended that a parent does not volunteer in their own child's classroom. Time commitment is optional.

Volunteers are needed to provide extra assistance or backup for the Lunch Time Supervisiors. The time commitment is ???? (for Grades 1-8) or ????? (for JK/SK). You can volunteer for specific days or on an "on call" basis.
