Principal's Message

Welcome to St. Teresa of Calcutta CES

Hello and welcome to the St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School website.

We hope that it helps you learn about our school, our school community and our motto: “Do small things with great love”

As Principal of this vibrant school community, I look forward to continuing the traditions which have made St. Teresa of Calcutta CES a very special and inviting school. An incredibly dedicated staff works hard to help our students grow spiritually, academically and socially. We strive to meet the needs of all our children and give of our time to provide many extra-curricular activities during recesses, lunch hours and after school.

Our school community is truly blessed to have a very active parish presence in our school. We look forward to working closely with the pastoral team of St. Catharine of Siena Parish to celebrate masses and liturgies. We thank them for their incredible support to religious and sacramental programs.

St. Teresa of Calcutta CES enjoys a wonderful, supportive partnership with our Catholic School Council working together to achieve our common goals. Parents serve on committees and assist with such activities as special lunch days, fundraising and curriculum partnerships.

St. Teresa of Calcutta CES prides itself in building a community among all stakeholders. On a daily basis students are presented with opportunities to grow spiritually, academically, physically and socially. We are very proud of their achievements as we continue to strive for excellence and success to be a faith-filled witness of Christ.

The staff is always working hard to better identify our priorities in the various areas so that we can work to meet our goal of excellence in literacy and numeracy across the Curriculum areas. We will continue to use data to inform our decisions as we continually work to improve student performance.

I look forward to serving the St. Teresa of Calcutta CES Community, alongside the Staff and Superintendent Mr. DiFrancesco to continue the many initiatives already in place at our school.

Yours in Catholic Education,
Mr. Sam Agro
Principal
